Yes, some of them stack

This is the bit most people miss. Blue Light doesn't play with other offers, except Soul Club. So in your birthday month, one bill can take all three:

  • 20% off the food
  • Free gyoza worth up to £8.90
  • A stamp towards your next freebie

The stamp still counts as long as you pay £12 or more after the 20% comes off.

Stacks

  • Blue Light and Soul Club stamps or rewards
  • Blue Light and your birthday gyoza
  • The £14 lunch set and a stamp
  • 20% off and a stamp, if you still pay £12 or more
  • A gift card and a stamp
  • A delivery app's offer and a stamp, if the order's still £12

Pick one

  • Blue Light or student 20% and the lunch set
  • Blue Light and the set menu
  • Blue Light and the student discount
  • Soul Club rewards and the lunch set or set menu
  • Soul Club rewards and delivery or click + collect
  • The Christmas prosecco and any other offer

The biggest saving isn't always the biggest percentage

Book a table and the set menu is yours: two courses for £20 or three for £25, with edamame or prawn crackers thrown in. Same full-size dishes as the main menu, and every pairing on it costs more ordered separately. Go big with hot honey fried chicken (teriyaki), saku saku duck soba and miso caramel banana bread, and with the edamame that's £42.10 of food for £25.

Got a Blue Light Card? You can't use it on the set menu, so price your order both ways. For two courses the magic number is £25: under it, take the 20%. Over it, book. For three courses, it's £31.25.

Most branches take bookings for four or more, and some take smaller tables. Phone the restaurant for 20 or more.

20% off for NHS staff, police, forces and teachers

Show your Blue Light Card and the whole table gets 20% off the food, up to six of you, any day of the week. Fridays and Saturdays too, at every UK Wagamama except the airports. A Defence Discount Service card works the same way.

£14.66 off a table of four four mains, gyoza and edamame

£24.38 off a table of six six mains and three sides to share

NHS staff get it through Blue Light Card, and so do police, the armed forces, teachers, social care workers and the emergency services. Grab your unique code from Blue Light Card or DDS and show it to your server with your card.

Works

  • Any day, Friday and Saturday included
  • You plus five guests
  • Soul Club stamps and rewards on the same bill
  • Your birthday gyoza

Doesn't

  • Drinks
  • The £14 lunch set or the set menu
  • Takeaway, click + collect and delivery
  • Airport branches

Top tip for your stamp: a chicken katsu curry on its own drops from £14.90 to £11.92, 8p short of the £12 you need. Drinks aren't discounted, so add one and you're over.

Turn your visits into free food

Soul Club is Wagamama's free app, and it pays you back in food. Pay £12 or more through it and you earn a stamp. Three stamps and you've got a free side, six and it's a free main, then you go again.

  1. Join before you pay

Sign up at the table and your welcome stamp lands alongside your meal's. Two stamps on day one puts a free side one visit away, and the welcome edamame or prawn crackers are yours from your second visit.

  2. Everyone pays their own

Eating with mates? Each person who pays £12 or more through their own app bags their own stamp. One person paying for the table gets one.

  3. Never lose a stamp

Forgot to pay in the app? Claim it within 7 days with your receipt. Gift cards count, and so do Uber Eats and Deliveroo orders with your Soul Club email at checkout.

Birthday month? A free gyoza, worth up to £8.90, drops into the app on the 1st, as long as you've earned a stamp in the six months before. You've got 31 days to eat it. And bring a friend into Soul Club: you both get a bonus reward once they've joined and eaten.

Read this before you redeem

  • The £12 is what you pay after any discount, not counting tips or service charge.
  • One stamp a day, however many times you eat.
  • Rewards are dine-in only, one a day, and not on the lunch set or set menu.
  • The free main is always the cheapest main on the bill. Order duck soba next to a friend's katsu curry and it's the curry that's free.
  • A free side needs £12 spent on other things too.
  • Stamps expire if you go 12 months without earning one.

Students, there's more in the app

Your 20% off runs Sunday to Thursday, all year. Here's how to set it up. On top of that:

Spin + Win in the Soul Club app until 31 October, for a shot at food rewards and merch.

A free side when you spend £12 and eat in at these Wagamamas on these dates. Show your verified profile before you pay.

  • Manchester Trafford Centre1 October
  • Hatfield Galleria1 October
  • West Midlands Designer Outlet2 to 4 October
  • Leicester Highcross6 October

Christmas is already on the menu

The festive set menu is £23 for two courses or £28 for three, and the cranberry katsu is back. Book by 15 October for any date from 18 November to 5 January and everyone eating from it gets a free glass of prosecco on arrival (juice for under-18s).

It's England, Wales and Northern Ireland only, and it doesn't stack with Blue Light or Soul Club rewards.

Ordering on Deliveroo or Uber Eats?

Your dine-in discounts stay at the restaurant: Blue Light is dine-in only, and Soul Club rewards don't work on delivery. Check the app's own offers instead.

You still bag the stamp, though. Pop your Soul Club email in at checkout and keep the order at £12 or more after the app's discount, not counting fees or tips.

Got a gift card?

Spend it in restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales, on click + collect, or on takeaway paid for in the restaurant, but not on delivery. It still earns you a stamp.

Cards hold up to £500 and last 13 months from the last time they're used, and Wagamama takes One4all, Restaurant Favourites and Teen & Student Choice cards too.

Just missed

  • 20% off the kids menu for Soul Club members, 25 June to 1 September 2026
  • 25% off on results day with a GCSE or A-level results certificate, 20 August 2026
  • Stamp Week Spin to Win, with free sides, 20% off rewards and a trip-to-Japan prize draw, 1 to 13 September 2026

Kids eat free? Not right now. The kids menu starts at £4.90, though. See the kids menu and prices.

What about the 50% codes?

You'll see voucher sites promising 45% and even 50% off Wagamama. The discounts Wagamama actually runs are 20%, and they come from a card or the app, not a code you type in.

So don't burn your lunch break chasing half-price codes. Take the 20%, book the set menu, or fill your stamp book.

Questions

Does Wagamama have a discount code?

Not the kind you type in. Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service members show a unique code from their scheme to the server, and students get 20% off through the Soul Club app.

Does Wagamama do an NHS discount?

Yes, through Blue Light Card: 20% off food for you and up to five guests, any day, when you eat in. There's no separate NHS scheme.

Does the Blue Light discount work at weekends?

Yes, every day the restaurant is open. It's the student discount that stops on Fridays and Saturdays.

Can I use Blue Light with Soul Club?

Yes. You still earn stamps, and you can redeem Soul Club rewards, birthday gyoza included, on the same bill.

Is the set menu cheaper than 20% off?

For two courses, yes, once your side and main would cost more than £25 off the menu. Under £25, the 20% wins. For three courses, the line is £31.25.

What's the Wagamama birthday offer?

Free gyoza in the Soul Club app on the 1st of your birthday month. You need a stamp from the six months before, and it lasts 31 days.

Can I use a Wagamama gift card on Deliveroo?

No. Gift cards work in restaurants, on click + collect and on takeaway paid for in the restaurant.

Do kids eat free at Wagamama?

Not at the moment. The last kids offer, 20% off the kids menu for Soul Club members, ended on 1 September 2026.

Prices are dine-in, checked 26 September 2026. See the full Wagamama menu.
