Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit wagamamamenus.uk. It is written to be read rather than to be skimmed past, and it describes what the site actually does today.
The short version
This is a static information website. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no comment section and no form to fill in. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and there is nothing on this site that would let us build a profile of you.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you personally. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or payment details, because there is nothing on this site that asks for them.
Standard server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information about requests: the page requested, the time, the browser and operating system, and an IP address. This is generated automatically by the web server, is used to keep the site running and secure, and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Preferences stored in your own browser. If the site remembers a choice you made, such as a filter or a light or dark theme, that is stored locally in your browser. It never reaches us and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated before that happens, and it will say what is used and what it records. If a service is added that requires consent under UK law, you will be asked for it.
Third parties
Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Their handling of it is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Links out. We link to Wagamama's website and occasionally to other third-party sites. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy policy, not ours.
Hosting. The site is served by a hosting provider that processes requests on our behalf and keeps the server logs described above.
Children
This site is a restaurant menu guide. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information about them.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Even though we hold almost nothing about you, you have rights over any personal data we do process: to be told what we hold, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to have it transferred elsewhere.

How long data is kept
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and diagnostics, then deleted. We do not maintain any separate database of visitors.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this policy changes with it, and the date at the top will be updated. Any change that affects what we collect will be made before the change goes live, not after.
