Wagamama Lunch Deal

Level up your lunch for £14. A warming bowl of ramen, a coconut curry or a teriyaki rice bowl, with a soft drink or coffee included. Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm.

What's on the lunch menu?

These are the full-size bowls off the main menu, not a lunchtime shrink-down. Mild, warming coconut raisukaree. Teriyaki donburi on sticky rice. A proper chicken ramen. Two of the eight are vegan.

The deal works hardest on the bigger bowls, so if you already had your eye on a curry, the chicken raisukaree is the one to go for — £16.30 any other day. After something lighter? The grilled chicken ramen is 456 kcal, less than half.

Is it actually worth it?

Yes, and by more than you would think. The same bowl and drink on any other day comes to £16.80 to £20.80, so lunchtime saves you £2.80 to £6.80.

Worth knowing before you go: chicken katsu curry is not on the lunch menu. If that is the dish you are coming for, the deal is not your best option — you would order it off the main menu at £14.90 as usual.

What can you drink?

Whatever you actually fancy, and a coffee counts. Worth knowing that cloudy lemonade and peach iced tea are £4.50 on their own against £2.90 for a double espresso, so if a proper soft drink is your usual, the deal is doing more for you. Regular size:

  • Cloudy lemonade, peach iced tea, ginger beer, Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite Zero
  • Still or sparkling water
  • Flat white, latte, cappuccino, iced latte, americano, double espresso

Anything not on this list is charged on top at full price rather than swapped in.

When can you get it?

Weekday lunchtimes only. Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm, dine in.

Not on bank holidays, and Wagamama can rule out other dates too. Branches opt in individually, so check yours before you make a special trip. Airport and station branches price their own menus, and Northern Ireland runs a separate one.

You still earn a Soul Club stamp. That needs £12 in one payment, and £14 clears it.

Cheaper: wraps and lunch boxes

Want cheaper still? Wraps are £8.90 and lunch boxes £10, and you can add a drink to either for £2. That is a wrap and a drink for £10.90, a full £3.10 under the set menu.

  • 231Katsu Chicken Wrap

Beetroot wrap with crispy omelette, katsu chicken, asian slaw, pickles and a katsu dipping sauce.

    £8.90481 kcal
  • 232Yasai Ramen Wrapvegetarian

Spinach wrap with vegetables, soba noodles, spicy teriyaki, omelette and a broth reduction to dip.

    £8.90466 kcal

Three lunch boxes at £10: miso k-chicken, miso cauliflower and nasi goreng. With a drink, £12.

One £2 drink per order, regular size. A wrap is smaller than a main though, so it is cheaper, not better value. Want a proper bowl? Take the set menu.

Can students use the 20% off?

Sorry, no. The lunch menu blocks every other offer going, and Wagamama names student discount, Blue Light Card and Soul Club rewards outright. Lunchtime is one or the other.

Which saves more comes down to what you order. 20% off beats £14 only if your main and drink would have come to under £17.50. And the deal covers eight mains, so if you want a katsu curry it is 20% off or nothing. Price both on the student discount page.

Wagamama lunch deal FAQs

How much is the Wagamama lunch deal?

£14 for a selected main and a soft drink or coffee.

What time is the Wagamama lunch deal?

Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm. It does not run on bank holidays.

Does the lunch deal include a drink?

Yes. A soft drink or coffee is included in the £14, regular size. You do not add it separately.

Is the lunch deal available at weekends?

No. It runs Monday to Friday only.

Can I use my student discount on the lunch deal?

No. The 20% student discount cannot be combined with the £14 lunch deal, and neither can Blue Light Card or Soul Club rewards. You pick one.

Is the £14 lunch available at every Wagamama?

No. Wagamama says selected restaurants only, dine in, and subject to availability. Worth checking your local branch before making a trip for it.

What else is on the lunch menu?

Wraps at £8.90 and lunch boxes at £10, each of which you can add a drink to for £2. They are priced separately from the £14 deal.

So, worth going?

If you were eating out anyway, absolutely. For the best of it, pick one of the bigger mains such as the chicken raisukaree and pair it with one of the included soft drinks: that is £20.80 of menu for £14. After something lighter or cheaper, the ramen and the wraps are the ones to look at.

One warning if you are eating vegan: the tofu raisukaree is 1,135 kcal, heavier than any chicken dish on the list. The pulled shiitake donburi is the lighter call at 956.
