Does Wagamama do breakfast?
Yes, but only at its airport restaurants. Wagamama Gatwick North, Wagamama Gatwick South and Wagamama Heathrow Terminal 5 all link the same airport menu, and its breakfast section is served until 11am daily.
No other Wagamama links a breakfast menu. Its regular main menus have no breakfast section, and beyond Birmingham Airport, which we cover below, none of the other 172 sites on Wagamama’s list opens before 10am. So a town-centre Wagamama is a lunch and dinner stop, while Gatwick and Heathrow have a full breakfast menu.
Wagamama did try a wider brunch. Trade press reported a brunch menu at 22 restaurants from July 2024, served from 8.30am to 11.30am. The 16 sites named in that coverage that we checked now open at 10am or 11am and link a regular main menu with no breakfast section, so it is not a menu you can plan around today. Our guide to the airport and motorway-services restaurants shows which restaurants sit where.
Wagamama breakfast times at Gatwick and Heathrow
Breakfast runs until 11am. These are the opening times the three airport restaurants list.
| Restaurant | Open daily | Listed on |
|---|---|---|
| Wagamama Gatwick North | 4am to 8pm | 31 October 2026 |
| Wagamama Gatwick South | 4am to 9pm | 31 October 2026 |
| Wagamama Heathrow Terminal 5 | 5.30am to 9pm | 31 October 2026 |
Those are the hours each restaurant lists on wagamama.com, so check its page before you travel, because airport hours change. Birmingham Airport’s Wagamama lists an opening time of 4.30am but links no menu, so we can’t say whether it serves breakfast.
Wagamama breakfast calories
The big breakfast is the heavy one, at 1,181 to 1,268 kcal depending on the toast and eggs you choose, which is more than half of the 2,000 kcal a day that Wagamama says adults need.
The traditional breakfast is much lighter at 724 to 802 kcal, and the vegan breakfast comes in at 666 kcal. For something lighter still, the yasai Japanese-style omelette is 381 kcal, two poached eggs on toast with avocado are 405 to 415 kcal and the granola with coconut yoghurt is 409 kcal. The waffles are the sweet end of the scale, running up to 1,133 kcal for the bacon and maple-flavour syrup one. For the standard restaurant menu, see our Wagamama calories page.
Wagamama breakfast allergens and gluten-free options
Wagamama publishes its breakfast allergens in an interactive guide that only works in a browser, so we have copied each dish’s entry into the menu above.
These dishes come in a non-gluten version, with its own calories and allergens shown under the dish: smoked salmon + poached egg, two poached eggs + avocado, scrambled egg on toast, bacon sandwich, egg sandwich, granola + coconut yoghurt, açai sorbet + granola and miso chocolate brownie. Wagamama says that where it offers a gluten-free menu, controls keep dishes below 20 parts per million of gluten, but it cannot guarantee that any dish is free of every allergen, because its kitchens are busy and handle many of them.
One more rule is worth knowing before you order. Wagamama says it can’t take allergy orders through Order & Pay, so speak to a team member, who can show you the guide for your dish. The standard allergy and gluten-free pages on this site cover the restaurant menu, not this one.
Vegetarian and vegan breakfast at Wagamama
The veggie breakfast is vegetarian, and the menu has a separate vegan version of it.
The veggie breakfast (£15) swaps the bacon and sausage for vegan versions but keeps the eggs, so it contains eggs and milk and is vegetarian rather than vegan. The version the menu itself calls vegan (£14) swaps the eggs and toast for smashed avocado with edamame and tofu. Wagamama’s guide lists it as containing soya, sulphur dioxide/sulphites, and possibly cereals with gluten and sesame seeds. Dishes marked vegetarian in the menu above carry the same mark on the airport menu itself.
Wagamama breakfast FAQs
What time does Wagamama breakfast end?
At 11am, every day. The airport menu says its breakfast is served until 11am daily, and the main menu takes over from 11am. The three restaurants open at 4am (Gatwick North), 4am (Gatwick South) and 5.30am (Heathrow Terminal 5), as listed on wagamama.com on 31 October 2026.
How much is the big breakfast at Wagamama?
£17 on the airport menu, and 1,181 to 1,268 kcal depending on whether you pick white or malted toast and fried, scrambled or poached eggs. The traditional breakfast is £15 (724 to 802 kcal) and the veggie breakfast £15. Prices are the ones printed on the airport menu Wagamama links, an earlier edition than its allergen guide, so check at the table.
Is there a gluten-free breakfast at Wagamama?
Some dishes come in a non-gluten version: smoked salmon + poached egg, two poached eggs + avocado, scrambled egg on toast, bacon sandwich, egg sandwich, granola + coconut yoghurt, açai sorbet + granola and miso chocolate brownie. Each is listed with its own calories and allergens in the menu above. Wagamama says that where it offers a gluten-free menu, controls keep dishes under 20 parts per million of gluten, but it can't guarantee that any dish is completely free of any allergen, and it says allergy orders can't be placed through Order & Pay, so speak to a team member.
Does Wagamama do breakfast in London?
Not in its restaurants. The London restaurants link a regular main menu, which has no breakfast section, and no restaurant outside the airports lists an opening time before 10am. The one breakfast in the London area is at Heathrow Terminal 5, on the airport menu. Trade press reported a brunch menu at 22 restaurants in July 2024, but the London sites named at the time now open at 10am or 11am and link a regular main menu.
Is there a Wagamama breakfast menu at Birmingham Airport?
We can't confirm it. Wagamama's Birmingham Airport restaurant lists an opening time of 4.30am, but its page links no menu at all, so there is nothing to check a breakfast against. Ask the restaurant, or look at its page on wagamama.com before you travel.
Is there a Wagamama at Manchester Airport or Heathrow Terminal 3?
Not on Wagamama's own list of restaurants, which is where our list of airport and motorway-services restaurants comes from. Its airport restaurants are Gatwick North, Gatwick South, Heathrow Terminal 5 and Birmingham Airport.
Calories and allergens come from Wagamama’s airport allergen guide, dated 31 October 2026. Prices and vegetarian marks come from the airport main menu Wagamama links from its Gatwick and Heathrow pages, and opening hours from those pages on 31 October 2026. Dishes, prices and hours change, so check the restaurant before you travel. Browse the standard menu with prices or see weekday lunch for £14.
